I started playing with rockets in high school and in to the Air force but dropped out of the hobby for several years, then a friend got me back into it and I joined one of the local clubs, I completed my level 1 and 2 and then discovered experimental rocketry and went nuts, I completed my level 3 but continued to expand in EX and will work all year on a project to fly at BALLS. Today I have started to fly low power rockets again and really enjoy the thirll and sport of rocketry. This is an addictive sport, you just want more.

You can check out how I have been contributing to our hobby & this site here on EMRR.

As well, I have enjoyed building & flying spool rockets, which I have made freely available instructions on my personal website.

My latest challenge is using hybrid HPR motors. Sky Ripper Systems has been instrumental in helping me to "pass gas"!

Flying rockets again after 40 years off. I have built 7 since December 2008. I have 3 I need to repair, and 4 I am flying. I am going to convert one of the damaged ones to a 2 stage. There is one kit I want to buy and build and I have plans for a scratch high power build.

Just love Rocketry, even from a very young age of 9, my first Kit was a Estes Scout in 1961 and that's all it took, hooked for life. Never really stopped flying rockets, so I guess I'm not a BAR. Started in High Powered Rocketry in the early 90's and to date the largest rocket was as part of a team with a 4X- upscale Thor-X weighing 335 lbs. and powered by (1) N2000 and (3) M2000's at LDRS26. What's next? you just never know, Space! Hey, one can only Dream! I have a passion for Night Launches and promote them as much as I can. Designed Diab-Glo a High powered night lauch rocket for BSD High Power Rocketry. "Take back the Night sky"
