DUPLICATE USA & CANADA FRIENDSHIP FLIGHT COVERS

Inside each one of the fifty mail covers there was two little notes from either country describing basic details of the launch and/or rocket.

The top picture is on the backside of the cover.

During the Canadian leg of the flight the rocket mail covers were cancelled at the Post Office in Gananoque Ontario.

Unfortunately the launch wasn't caught on tape. What your seeing here is an igniter burnout or misfire which happened first and was the reason the memory card ultimately ran out of time and stopped recording. With that being the case even an igniter burno

Sike! My launch partner is fooled by what appears to be the Super X lifting-off. This was only a misfire however and five minutes later the rocket did take flight carrying 50 pieces of mail on board bound for Frontenac County.

The flight computer did survive the 1400 foot plunge to the ground revealing some interesting findings.

In this photo flames shoot out the back end of my Super X Mail Rocket. The USA & CANADA Friendship Flight carried mail on board that was also launched inside a rocket this summer in Oklahoma. Very cool.
