After such a great boost, ejection occurred right at apogee, then a funny thing happened.  The forward weighted end of the pod must have jammed somehow, with the chute no less, and the rear half of the pod ejected instead.  Well, this threw off the trim, and the glider came back in stalling, making the last dip not very high up, and thus was undamaged.
