The Astro was Centuri's introductory rocket, equivalent to the Estes Alpha and when you compare the two you can see how much more angular and fast-looking the Astro is. Many young rocketeers of the 60's and 70's learned the hobby with a Centuri Astro. 

The Ken Foss Design Astro-1 transforms this classic into a high-power beauty. The unique vinyl decals from CF Fluid Art add pinstripes to the fins creating a sports-car like finish to an already fast-looking rocket. And, in my opinion, make it even more wicked looking than the original. (Instructions for the application method of this unique decal are included).

Kit includes: A Heavy-wall Rocketarium tube, Aerotech nose cone, Bad Boy Rocketry laser-cut plywood fins and rings, Kevlar shock cord, and CF Fluid Art vinyl decals.

You provide the motor retention, parachute, rail buttons, and skill to build this show piece. (A Top Flight 24 inch parachute is what Ken uses and is available on our store along with 1010 rail buttons. Launch lugs may be allowed in your region, but are not recommended for flights over "G". 

A step-by-step instruction sheet with photos is included to guide your assembly. 

Kit does NOT include: motor, ignitor or launch equipment.

This is a mid to high power rocket capable of G to H flights. It is recommended for Level one certified flyers and intended to be launched at clubs. This is not the kind of rocket you take to the park and fly. This rocket is an intermediate level build and requires you to cut your own fin slots.
