On Friday 9th of December 2016 we launch Cirrus 1,5 sugar powered rocket. Our Goal was to test: - Stratologger CF - 1/3 scale Cirrus 2 - Cirrus 2 electronic bay Rocket specs: hight: 740mm diameter: 64,5mm airflame: Fibreglass/Epoxy -Motor specs: -G159 Kn/SB -Propellant mass: 135g -Egnitor: Crimson powder + Mg + Al -Geometry: Single bate (inhibited) Report: Weather was just right. Temparature was bellow zero. We had first problem when wires for switch were too short, but we managed that. After motor burnout we saw no parachute deployment. After analysing we figured out that the battery were disconnect during the flight. Also wires for switch broke. Rocket came down balistic.
