Estes Alpha III Rocket Prep and Launch
Launch of our Estes Alpha III model rocket . Gusty winds so went for the lower power of A8-3 motors. Heights reached were about 250 ft. The shock cord snapped on flight #2 leaving just the cone on the 'chute. It landed about 1/4 mile away.
