Mark Kulka's Estes Astron Midget K-40
Manufacturer:Estes

Clone of my first multi-stage rocket. The Astron Midget (K-40) was one of my very first model rockets. I got the original one in 1969. There are no Series III motors anymore, but this one will fly on Estes Mini T motors with adapters.

Rocketreviews.com keeps trying to reclassify this rocket as the TK-40 (Mini Brute) Midget, which was a different (though superficially similar) model with different dimensions and a different design. But we know better. <wink> This particular model is the ASTRON Midget, the one that was released in 1969. (I do have a TK-40 as well, which has its own page.)
