Made from a $1.00 bat and ball from the Dollar Tree store. The design is based on the OOP Estes kit, the Pop Fly. The fins are prints of baseball cards sandwiced over 1/16" balsa. The ball has a streamer to make it easier to see and catch at recovery.

Very stable! Ejection was just as the rocket started to turn over. The ball with streamer recovery worked well, but the parachute on the bat body didn't fully open. The parachute broke through the center of a wadding square. The wadding reefed the shroud lines. No damage on landing.
