Flight Log - 2011-08-29 - Hans "Chris" Michielssen's Carded Downscale Centuri Astro 1
Carded downscale of the classic Centuri Astro 1. Three ply carded fins, printed wrap for the BT-5 body tube. Balsa nose cone with a washer weight and streamer recovery.

As you can see in the inset launch picture, it was fast off my tripod launcher with an MPC 1/2A3-5m engine. I would estimate the altitude at 500'. Even with streamer recovery it drifted outside the field and within one foot of the busy road.
