NARAM 60 A Payload altitude design. A 13mm booster with a transition to an 18mm payload section which contained both the NAR payload and a short section of coupler tube designed to carry the altimeter, an Altus Metrum MicroPea. Payload bay and coupler were drilled to allow ambient air pressure to reach the altimeter. Nose cone was elliptical shaped balsa.

The glue did not set on the thrust block for this model, so I looped the Kevlar shock cord around the base of the motor and used is as an anchor. Flown with another Mylar streamer. Once again got a nice straight boost out of the towe. Once again the payload separated from the booster at ejection, but this time the streamer stayed attached to payload section and finally got a qualified flight. Altimeter reported 64 meters (210 feet). Once again I did not track the booster, but once again it was returned to the lost and found box.
