Decided that we needed to fly something "non-competition" so loaded up the Citation Patriot for a ride. Motor CATO'd about 40 feet off the pad, shooting the nozzle out the aft end and the burning fuel grain up out the front end of the rocket. Rocket descended under chute and actually sustained no visible damage, even the nylon parachute came through it unscathed. This was actually my first ever CATO of a black powder E9/E12 motor. Daughter was not impressed.
