BOOM! barely cleared the rod and the motor CATO’d. Motor mount blew out the back, nose cone, chute and recovery harness blew out the front. The body continued up for 100 feet or so and then raced over and came in ballistic, crumpling the body tube and snapping off one fin. This was the first motor out of a new pack so kind of unexpected.
