Estes upscaled Red Max Pro Series II kit. Added an eyebolt to the top centering ring and replaced the shock cord with 20 feet of braided Kevlar. Added some balsa "dams" to the motor mount which allowed me to pot the TTW fin tabs in epoxy where they attached to the motor mount. Currently using a kevlar heat shield and a 30 inch Spherachute for recovery. Rocket was initially flown "nekkid", but final colors will be pink with a purple nosecone and "Der Pink Max" decals from Stickershock.

Beautiful fall day, cool temps and near calm winds on the field. Great boost, straight, fast and high. Stalling out, just starting to arc over at ejection. Good chute at apogee, long time coming down. Minimal drift, stuck the landing in some short brush next to the field with no damage.
