Final flight on what had turned out to be an awesome rocket day. I hadn't flown the X-20 in almost 2 years and so I prepped it and sent it up. Great boost, straight and high, arcing over at the top of the climb, slowing down, still nose up at ejection. Good chute, medium length walk to recover. Ended up landing in a puddle near the edge of the field and getting the aft end of the rocket, including the spent motor casing soaked. I spent several weeks trying to get everything dried out and the motor casing removed, but eventually I pulled a little to hard and the rocket came apart. Bummer.
