Flight Log - 2012-11-10 - Jeff Boldig's Packers Backer II
This is a recreation of my original 29mm Thug. All the dimensions are the same as the 29mm version, but with a 38mm MMT. I also used the orginal nosecone that had the shoulder crushed in the lawn dart that destroyed the original. I replaced the shoulder with a coupler tube and mounted an U-bolt in the tip of the nose cone.
The paint scheme is the same as the 29mm Thug with the Packers theme. Instead of home made waterslide decals, this time I made my own vinyl decals with ink jet printer vinyl decal sheets. That worked great.

Night launch with MetalStorm motor! Great up. Landed across highway. Flashlight in chute shrouds to illuminate chute worked very well. Easy to see out in plowed field.
