Semroc Orbital Transport Model Rocket Kit

The Estes Orbital Transport first appeared in the 1968 Estes catalog. Inspired by a painting on the cover of the November, 1959, issue of Popular Mechanics magazine, the Estes Orbital Transport kit featured a futuristic design with a gliding orbiter. The rocket's booster is 23 inches long and .976 inches in diameter. The orbiter is 8.6 inches long and .736 inches in diameter.

Semroc's reproduction of the Classic Estes kit features balsa nose cones, laser-cut balsa fins, elastic shock cord, and improved shock cord mounting.
