Flight Log - 2008-05-18 - SRP Crew's V-2 (Victory 2)

This rocket was altered to except a 29mm motor instead of a 24mm. This will give it more motor options.

Flight Date: 2008-05-18
Rocket Name: V-2 (Victory 2)
Kit Name: Estes - V-2 {Kit} (1904) [2000-2000]
Flyer's Name: SRP Crew
Motors: F50-6
Actual Altitude: 1,298 Feet

The AT F50-6 made this kit run pretty awesome.  It was like someone forgot to tie off an inflated balloon. One of the most exciting flights we've seen yet.  The nose cone and body seperated with their own chute. The main body took 116.5 seconds to get down, and the nose cone came down after anamazing 153.8 seconds. Love to try it on a G33 one day.
