Flight Log - 2020-09-12 - Steve Lindeman's Scorpion

The Scorpion is a sleek little 13mm powered rocket capable of flights to 400'. It has nothing in common with its predecessor (kit 1333, which was a two stage rocket) other than name and manufacturer. Estes needs to do a little more research of their old rockets before naming new ones.

Flight Date: 2020-09-12
Rocket Name: Scorpion
Kit Name: Estes - Scorpion {Kit} (7232) [2014-]
Flyer's Name: Steve Lindeman
Motors: A3-4
Wind Speed: 3.00 mph
Launch Site: Out back of house - Laingsberg, MI

Nice straight up flight. Good altitude for this little 13mm motor. Parachute ejection at apogee and then rocket started to drift over trees. Lost to rocket eating trees.
