UW students launch and recover a minimum diameter 3in rocket to subsonic speeds at Black Rocket Nevada May, 2011 using an Aerotech L850. The wet playa is well captured in the video along with images of base camp and the smoke plume of the motor at apogee. This rocket was later reflown with an Aerotech L2200 to nearly Mach 2.
