The Delta II-7925H configuration, using a 2.9 meter fairing, launched the rover Opportunity to Mars in 2003, the Planet Mercury Messenger mission in 2004, and the Dawn Asteroid mission in 2007.
DFR's kit is based on the six ground-start and three air-start SRM configuration. The 1/72nd scale model is designed to fly with up to six A10-PT motors in the SRMs and a core B6 motor in the main airframe.
