Flight Log - 2016-01-24 - Ken E. Coyote's "Well De-Finned"
"Finless Rocket #2" - Second prototype design for RAIS (Ram Air Induction Stabilization) testing. Uses an outer compartmentalized shroud and air outlets to try to simulate "air fins" for rear stabilization. BT5 body tube and has streamer recovery.

First test flight of RAIS system using rocket design #2. Rocket rose up at a slight angle and was somewhat squirrelly on boost. Event and recovery were fine. Shroud and outlets may be too small or perhaps it needs more boost/higher speed. Will test further.
