Centuri produced this scale model of the US Navy's AQM-37A from about 1980 to 1983. The AQM-37A Jayhawk was an expendable ground-launched target drone which made its first flight in May of 1961.
Centuri's kit included an eight-page book describing the real AQM-37A. The kit featured a plastic nose cone, large decal sheet, and pre-cut balsa.
