This is one large rocket and is extremely easy to put together. I read through the instructions and test fit all the parts together before beginning. The instructions are easy to follow and seem to be precise. I was surprised at the quality of the plastic parts, as they all fit together well with minimal flashing (plastic from molding that must be cut away). The only modification I decided to make is to terminate the supplied shock cord with a swivel, so that I can add a longer length of cord when launching . You do need to have a 3/16" launch rod handy to line up the lugs when the time comes. Before adding the glue to the upper coupler, I placed a piece of masking tape on the body and pre-marked the precise location for the upper lug. Step 5c asks you to feed the shock cord through the body tube, careful not to get any glue on it. I found that it is easier just to roll up the elastic cord and stuff it inside the coupler for this step. There is no painting required and the decals are stick on. Take your time n the body wrap.....but isn't this always the case! I really like this rocket. It will certainly carry a lighted payload for SoAR's Annual January night launch!
