HV Arcas Flight 20190511

The old reliable Aerotech HV Arcas made another successful flight on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the Agate Skyways launch site. She went up on a G64-10 white lightning motor and the motor ejection went off nominally at or near apogee. The Arcas had a U-838 spy cam taped on to its side. The PerfectFlite Stratologger CF indicated that she reached an apogee of 1,129' with a top speed of 194 mph. Unfortunately, since the Arcas crash landed on the Agate runway with a fouled chute back in September 2018, she no longer flies straight, but tends to have a tail wagging ascent.
